Methodology & Process

How We Work Together

Our process is both transformative and experiential and addresses strategy, structure, culture, leadership, risk and performance. We work one-on-one with you (and your team) to identify your obstacles and achieve your desired outcomes. We cannot and do not take a one size fits all approach. Through a highly-individualized strategy, we will bring you from where you are now to where you want to be.

Working with Evolveability is different than working with a traditional business coach or consultant. We can’t emphasize this enough — our strategy is customized for you and your team. Part of our process includes sharing theories and concepts, but the actual work is done side-by-side, with you, in the application of those theories to your very specific situation and needs. You are never alone in this journey. We are with you every step so that we can facilitate the critical, high-impact breakthrough moments and maximize results. It is because of this kind of partnership, that we can bring you to your desired outcome with precision and in significantly less time than other coaches and consultants can.

There is no standard duration for the process; the timing and length of our relationship is specific to your individual need. Some clients are on the precipice of a big breakthrough and desire immediate change while others are looking to build into change more gradually.

Our Methodology

Being in flow is central to our methodology. Our foundational work is helping clients create the right conditions to achieve peak performance and flow within themselves and their team. Hungarian Psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihaly, the Godfather of flow, defines flow as, “being completely involved in an activity for its own sake. Time flies. The ego falls away. Every movement and thought follow inevitably from the previous one. Your whole being is involved, and you’re performing your skill to its utmost.” Simply, it’s the moment in time when awareness meets action and all aspects of performance are heightened. Harvard Business Review reported that, “Executives in flow are 500 times more productive and people with more flow in their lives report higher levels of happiness.”

For this to be successful, we ask our executives, leaders and athletes to have a growth mindset. This is not about developing a “performance on demand strategy” or acquiring new, technical skills; this is about having the unwavering desire to transition to the next level and having the necessary passion to push past the challenges that come with growth and expansion. You must be open, willing and unafraid of learning new ways.

The more open and committed you are, the sooner you see results. Many clients experience instant results and we’ve seen first-hand an almost immediate shift in perspective and awareness. After our initial partnership, we will recommend strategies for maintaining and continuing the growth. It is up to you to decide how much involvement you would like us to have as you work through our recommendations.

What Clients are Saying

  • “I like to compare Sarah’s impact with me to watching a 3D movie without the 3D glasses. The story can be great, the sound effects awesome, but without the glasses it’s impossible to get the full effect. She provided the glasses. Working with her has given me a different perspective, helped me build better relationships with my peers, and has helped me emerge as a leader within our management group.”
